காற்று கைகளில் கொண்டு வந்து சேர்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தது

காற்றுக்குப் பிடித்தது போன்றதோரு கைக்குட்டையை

என்னால் கடைகளில் வாங்க முடியவில்லை

வானத்தை மறைத்து விடுவதைப் போல

அம்மா அதைப் பார்த்தால்

ராட்சசன் ஒருவன் நகம் வெட்டிப் போட்டு விட்டான் என்பாள்

ஆயிரம் கோழிகளுக்கும் கோவர்த்தனகிரி மலை போல

குடை பிடிக்கும் காளானைத்

தின்ற வயிறு பெரிதாகிக் கொண்டு போகையில்

சட்டென வரும் விழிப்பில்

கனவிலும் சட்டென முளைத்து

சட்டென அழிந்து விடுகின்றன காளான்கள்
