Symbols showing ‘Annaththe’
Rajinikanth's ‘Annaththe’
marks another turning point in his return from politics. The film highlights
his desire to say goodbye to politics and focus on family matters. Always Rajini
is a family man. The film is set accordingly.
Rajinikanth's ‘Annaththe’
is one of the blockbuster collection films in the industry. His film 'Mullum
Malarum' is one of his most iconic films of the same genre. Both films focus on
brother-sister affection. The film ‘Mullum Malarum’ would have handled it
naturally and realistically. ‘Annaththe’ handles the business platform with
spicy character.
In both the films
'Mullum Malarum' and ‘Annaththe’, Rajini's affectionate sisters are set. Both
the films differ due to Rajini's attitude towards the sisters choosing their
married life. You can see the rogue Rajini in both the films. In both there is
Rajini who does not give up affection. Rajini, who is boasting in 'Mullum
Malarum', is relaxed in ‘Annaththe’.
‘Annaththe’ shows how
‘Mullum Malarum’ will change if a normal actor grows up to be a super actor.
Apart from that ‘Annaththe’ has not also handled the innovative storyline on.
It is the ‘affectionate’ form of brother-sister affection that the Tamil film
industry has in its own template form of Sivaji – Savithri’s ‘Pasa Malar’.
Shivaji - Savitri's
affectionate story of ‘Pasa Malar’ has been tinkering with the menu in various
ways and many actors have acted as Vijay and Ajith. Vijay's 'Sivakasi' and
Ajith's 'Vedalam' are examples. Rajinikanth has now rejoined the list, using
the same tactics used by successful film heroes before and after him.
Siva, who directed ‘Annaththe’,
is no different from 'Vedalam', which was earlier directed by him with Ajith.
There are many similarities between the two films. If the foster sister was
used in the film 'Vedalam', the slightest irrelevant differences between the
two films can be mentioned that he used the sibling sister in the film ‘Annaththe’.
There are some other minimal meager amount of differences between the two
films, such as married sister and unmarried sister. It is noteworthy that
Calcutta plays an important role in the storylines of both.
Rajini, who is seen in
the movie ‘Annaththe’, belongs to the upper caste. Also he belongs to family of
lord such as Mirasudhar, who can come in the form of Nattamai. As well as being
able to ride as a powerful bull in the Minor Range. One who can do anything for
justice and affection at the same time.
‘Annaththe’ movie is
captivating for a few things. Rajini refuses to massacre her fleeing sister as
the marriage is about to take place. The director also accurately shows the
circumstances under which genocide can take place in the film. The affection he
has for her sister prevents it. Rajini also did not want to drag her sister and
marry her of her choice. This is where the film deviates from reality. What
Rajini did not like in the film is often happening in reality in today's
society.
In the latter part of
the film, Rajini indirectly enters into heroism for her sister who is in
trouble. Needless to say, all of that is unbelievable heroism.
According to the film,
Rajini is in Tamil land. Whether he performs heroism in a outer land like
Calcutta. He is able to place bombs if he thinks. Able to set cars on fire. Can
stand on top of buildings and swing people upside down. That and all this in
another land where language is unknown also.
‘Annaththe’ is a film
shot for Rajinikanth's business platform but it does not fail to convey the
sharp views it conveys. Rajini goes for a completely family-centric approach.
As well as privately as a hero telling us to do as much as we can for this
community. The film also tends to symbolize in a way that he did not focus on
uniting people. We can expect the same in future Rajinikanth’s films. That is,
the heroism that helps the story that is not practical.
