A day of the unthinking
Too much to miss
I'm not ready to miss
So I want to think less
It is enough for me
travelling on the bus
A ticket to Mannargudi
Or a ticket to
Tiruvarur
If landing in between
A travel ticket stating
the name of that stopping
They say if you come to
your stopping, blow the whistle and get off
I will get off
As required at the tea
shop
A finger or two fingers
are enough to say about tea
In a glass vase
It comes to a boil
Ten rupees or twenty
rupees
If you take the rupees
and stretch it
Cash is taken and
deposited
Above that is
Muthupattan House
If you ask where it is
Anybody goes towards his
home
I am carried in one's
carriage
What more is there to
think about
If you go to
Muthupattan's house
He keeps talking
You have to keep
listening
After the conversations
If it is time, he will
bring it himself
He will pick up the
cart and leave
Now You tell me the
name of my place
If you buy a ticket
You can reach the place
For not thinking enough
Able to sleep
peacefully
Will Muthuppattan sleep
peacefully this night
Even if you think about
it
I will wake up from
sleep
I know too much of
thinking always crossing the deep sleep
