It is tools that give identity to a person beyond being human.

Thiruvalluvar, who says, "For every living being born as same," says, "The best work is to make a difference."

Thiruvalluvar says that work is what differentiates, i.e. identifies, people.

Tools are the basics of the work. Tools are what give identity to workers.

The chisel and hammer symbolize a carpenter. A book and a pen symbolize a teacher. The spanner and screw driver symbolize a mechanic. Stethoscope and injection identify a doctor.

In old Tamil movies they used to show a globe and a rotating chair to identify the villain, as if they were symbolic tools.

We remember the identity of each worker with tools. We cannot identify an electrician without a tester.

Although the Industrial Revolution replaced tools with machines, machines were still tools.

If you put the tools together and make it work, it becomes a machine. It requires coordination and movement of tools. Machines are the modern form of tools.

Machinery is the basis of factories. Although factory workers are created by factories, they are employed there to operate machines that are sets of tools. It is the tools that have become machines that give them the identity of workers.

Even if you take an office, it is also a collection of files, records, evidence, tools and machinery.

The office equipment itself gives signs to the human being who can handle the office equipment effectively.

The names of office workers we give typist, stenographer, clerk are all symbols of handling tools.

Even calling the musicians by their instruments when referring to them is a sign that the instruments are the symbols of the people.

Tools are not only a symbol of industry and a symbol of people, but also a source of human livelihood. The vital force of livelihood is the main reason behind the deep love of instruments.
